Better Than Yesterday is every athlete’s goal. Ride harder, run faster, swim further, climb higher, beat our own PB.
At Yosh, our goal is to also apply this mantra to every thing we produce. Not only are we striving to create comfortable, high quality technical garments, but garments that are more environmentally sustainable.
Many talk about sustainability goals, but fail to actually implement them. We hope to demonstrate that this is not just talk for us, but rather our promise to continually seek better options for greater sustainability.
So what are we doing?
Recycled Polyester
We are transitioning to recycled polyester fabrics wherever practicable. This helps to reduce petroleum use in the manufacture of new polyester, reduces the number of plastic bottles choking our oceans and contaminating soil in landfill, reduces harmful emissions and preserves natural resources.
Our ultimate goal is to convert our entire product range to recycled materials once our fabric mills produce them and we are satisfied, through testing, that they meet our strict performance criteria.

Responsible Manufacturing
Not only do we place great importance on the quality and sustainability of the products we create but also the effects on the environment and physical working conditions from the fabric mills to the manufacturing factories. As such, we choose to only work with manufacturers who meet the highest standards in quality, safety, human rights practices and environmental certifications including bluesign®, OEKO-TEX® and Global Recycle Standard (GRS).

Pre-Ordering
From time to time we run pre-order campaigns to assist with the production of appropriate quantities and sizes to fit with immediate demand. This is an important component of our goal towards zero waste because overproduction is extremely detrimental to our environment.
Biodegradable Packaging
We now only use biodegradable garment packaging and mailer bags and are gradually reducing or completely eliminating unnecessary brand packaging, as another aspect of our goal towards zero waste.

Giving Back
We are committed to giving back to charities and organisations dedicated to restoring and conserving our diverse ecosystems and habitat and to those dedicated to helping in times of crisis.
We are a small, family run company, but we hope to create positive impact through showing there are ways we can all—big or small—work towards greater sustainability to be Better Than Yesterday.
