Not only do we place great importance on the quality and sustainability of the products we create but also the effects on the environment and physical working conditions from the fabric mills to the manufacturing factories. As such, we choose to only work with manufacturers who meet the highest standards in quality, safety, human rights practices and environmental certifications including bluesign®, OEKO-TEX® and Global Recycled Standard (GRS).

bluesign®

bluesign® is a global holistic system that provides solutions in sustainable processing and manufacturing at every stage of the textile supply chain. It ensures only the use of approved chemicals and clean processes, responsibility with natural resources management, the reduction of air and water emissions and improved waste water treatment. It is a guarantee that the final textile product not only meets stringent consumer safety requirements, but that it also satisfies occupational health and safety standards, minimises environmental impact and conserves natural resources.

OEKO-TEX®

OEKO-TEX® is an internationally recognised, independent body specialising in testing skin safety of finished textile products, ensuring they are free from harmful chemicals, banned substances and have a skin-friendly pH. Every component of a garment – including threads, fabrics, zippers and linings are tested along with any prints or coatings applied to the outer material. It guarantees the end product is safe for human wear and the greater environment.

Global Recycled Standard (GRS)

Global Recycled Standard is an international, voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials. GRS applies to the full supply chain and ensures traceability of the recycled material is maintained from the recycler to the final product. Other objectives of the GRS are to define the requirements for accurate content claims, good working conditions, minimised harmful environmental impact and to drive higher percentages of recycled content in products.
